Fault diagnosis of ball grid ruler digital display

1¡¢ Turning on the power does not display:

1. Check if the power supply is loose and if the fuse is damaged.

2. Check if the power supply voltage of the digital display is normal AC110V-220V.

2¡¢ When the power is turned on and the machine is running, one axis on the display screen does not move, while the other axis is normal or both have no signal.

1. Shut down and check if the plug behind the damaged one axis digital display is loose, and check if the wire from the ball grid reading head of this axis to the digital display is normal. If it is found to be loose, plug it tightly and repair it before restarting.

2. Turn off the device, swap the x and y plugs behind the digital display, turn on the device, and check if the display is normal. If the damaged axis is replaced with another axis, the digital display is faulty; If one shaft is broken and the plug is replaced to restart the other shaft but there is no signal, you need to check if the wire is broken. If it is not broken, it means that the reading head is damaged.

3. During use, if there is no signal from both axes at the same time and there are no main electrical factors such as thunder, it can be basically determined that the digital display meter is damaged. Contact the maintenance of the ball grid meter.

3¡¢ The display screen can show, but it is unstable, with flashing digits at the end, or jumping 12.7mm or its accompanying digits.

1. Check if the machine tool is leaking electricity and if the machine tool and digital display are properly grounded.

2. Check if the braided mesh (grounding wire) from the reading head to the outer layer of the digital display meter wire is connected to the middle of the digital display meter housing and cannot be broken.

3. Check if the plug from the reading head to the digital display meter is filled with oil.

4¡¢ The display screen shows the words NO SIG or SIG FAIL

1. NO SIG did not receive a signal from the reading head. Check if the wiring from the reading head to the digital display is broken or if the reading head is damaged.

2. SIG FAIL: The reading head signal was interrupted during use. Check if the wiring from the reading head to the digital display is intact or if the reading head is damaged.

3. If the above letters appear, check if the communication cable is broken and if the plug is filled with oil.

4. If there is suddenly no signal from both axes during use, or the letters on both axes appear, please check the digital display power supply or repair the digital display meter.

5¡¢ The digital display button is malfunctioning.

1. Check if there are any damaged areas on the digital display panel. If so, it needs to be repaired.

2. If there are no damaged areas, turn on or off the machine again. If it cannot be resolved, it can only be sent for repair.

6¡¢ The installation of the ball grid on the machine tool is inaccurate.

1. Check if the fixing screws of the ball grid digital display are loose and if the middle support bracket is damaged.

2. The error correction of the digital display meter is incorrect.

3. After repairing the machine tool, the installation of the ball grid digital display is incorrect. Please reinstall it.

4. Please check if the ball grid reading head is damaged (inquire with Depp about the method).

5. The clearance between the guide rails of the machine tool is too large. Please tighten the clearance between the guide rails and check if the machine tool needs major repairs due to wear and tear.
